Mulhearn Funeral Home

Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Rayland DeLaSalle, 72, of Monroe, will be held at 
2:00 PM Thursday, February 5, 2009, at Rowland Road Baptist Church with Rev. 
Norman Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park 
Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, 
Monroe.

Mr. DeLaSalle passed away Monday, February 2, 2009. He retired from the U. S. 
Postal Service after 34 ½ years of service. Mr. DeLaSalle was a member of 
Rowland Road Baptist Church and a Mason.

Mr. DeLaSalle was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Selma Olive 
DeLaSalle; and brothers, Charles DeLaSalle and Glenn DeLaSalle.

Survivors include his wife, Lavada Florene (Flo) Tidwell DeLaSalle; two sons, 
Scotty Lee DeLaSalle, and Christopher Brad DeLaSalle and wife Rebecca; 
granddaughters, Brooke and Bridgett DeLaSalle; sisters, Delores Pender and 
husband Jerry, Dot Windham, Ellon Waters, and Irene Smith; sisters-in-law, 
Gloria DeLaSalle and Sandra DeLaSalle; and brother, Johnny DeLaSalle and wife 
Marcell.

Pallbearers will be Brad DeLaSalle, C.O. Windham, David Lokard, Chris Parks, 
Jackie Eaton, and Tommy DeLaSalle.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital or the St. Jude Children's 
Research Hospital
