KITTIE DENNARD

Funeral service for Kittie Dennard, 72, of Winnsboro, LA, will be on 
Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Young's Community 
Memorial Funeral Home, with Rev. Ron Ferrington and Rev. Troy J. Dennard 
officiating. Ms. Kittie will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, 
Sammy, of 48 years, in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery, under the direction 
of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home, Winnsboro, LA.

Ms. Kittie was born to the union of Calvin Spencer Maxie, Jr and Mamie Allen 
Maxie on November 30, 1944 in Delhi, LA, and passed to her heavenly home on 
December 24, 2016 in Winnsboro, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, 
C. S. Maxie, Jr and Mammie Bacle; husband, Sammy Dennard; brother, Spencer 
Maxie, and step-father, George Smith.

After many years of dedicated service as a bank teller at Franklin State 
Bank, Ms. Kittie retired and found much joy as a hospice volunteer. She 
enjoyed being a part of the Ladies Ministry of Magnolia Baptist Church, 
helping with the children's bible school activities each year and was a 
member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Ms. Kittie loved her family and 
friends and they loved her. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are her children, Todd DeMars and wife 
Jody of Linvingston, TX, Letha "Tammy" Goldsmith and husband Dave of Porter, 
TX, Troy J. Dennard and wife Joann of Winnsboro, LA; grandchildren, Austin 
Hall, Tiffany Kent and husband James, Mica Bibb and husband Matt, Blake 
Dennard and wife Stephanie, Jon Merriett, Katelyn Moore, and Kristal Moore; 
great grandchildren, Karissa Kent, Grant Bibb, and Haylyn Patterson; her 
father (Pop), Charles Bacle of Crowville, LA; brother, David Bacle of 
Winnfield, LA; a special sister-in-law, Drenda Dennard; and her loving 
companion and 'favorite child', Booda Bear. She is also survived by a host 
of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Pallbearers to honor Ms. Kittie will be Austin Hall, Billie Maxie, Tommy 
Martin, Blake Dennard, Roger Ulmer, Richard Hines, Richard Mahoney, and Jon 
Merriett.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Roy McDuffee, Bruce Erwin, Mike Emfinger, Doug 
Easterling, and Chuck Easterling.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, December 26, 2016 
from 5:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
