Graveside services for Mr. David P. Denton, 71, of Monroe, will be held at 
11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with 
Rev. Randy Cook officiating. Services are under the direction of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mr. Denton passed away Saturday, October 11, 2008. He was a technical 
representative with Xerox Corporation for over thirty-four years, retiring in 
April of 1997.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Denton; children, Linda Denton of Chapel 
Hill, NC, Scott Denton and wife Nikki of Sarasota, FL, and Lori Denton Powell 
and husband Todd of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Angela Holley Lewis of West 
Monroe, LA, Christopher Holley of Chattanooga, TN, Ethan Powell of Charlotte, 
NC, and Blaise Denton and Jackson Denton both of Sarasota, FL; great 
grandchildren, Adison Dru Holley, and Skyler Briggs Lewis; sister, Julie 
Heagney and husband Terry of Holliston, MA; and first cousin, Carolyn Lewing 
and husband Harold of Monroe, LA.

Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
