WINSON DEROUEN

Funeral services for Mr. Winson Derouen, Sr. of Calhoun, LA will be 10:00am 
Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA. Rev. Frank
Coens
Coens celebrant. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm Wednesday, March 15, 20
2017 with the vigil at 6:00pm in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Derouen was born August 30, 1937 in Rayne, LA to the union of Adolph and 
Gladys Derouen and passed from this life on March 12, 2017 in Calhoun, LA at th
the age of 79. He was a retired welder for McDermott and a member of the Lions Cl
Club and Moose Lodge.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, E.J. Derouen.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sue Derouen of Calhoun; 
children, Elizabeth Williams of Beaumont, TX, Cindy Simmons of Beaumont, TX, 
Kathy Derouen of Eros, LA, "lil" Winson Derouen, Jr. and wife Denise of 
Calhoun, Joe Derouen of Calhoun and Amie Derouen and husband Eybar Martinez of 
Calhoun; two brothers, Edward Derouen, Sr. of Denham Springs, LA and Donald Derouen
Derouen, Sr. of Denham Springs, LA; also survived by ten grandchildren, two 
great-grandchildren, lifelong friends, E.J. Banta and Silvia Banta and a host of
ext
of extended family and friends.
