Funeral services for Mrs. Lena Elizabeth DeStefano, 94, of Monroe, will be 
held at 10:00 AM Thursday, February 5, 2009, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Job Edathinatt officiating. Interment 
will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. DeStefano passed away Monday, February 2, 2009, at St. Joseph's Nursing 
Home. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the Catholic 
Daughters of America. Mrs. DeStefano was a clerk for Haddad Cleaners for many 
years.

Mrs. DeStefano was preceded in death by her husband, Leo DeStefano; grandson, 
Tony DeStefano; parents, Joe and Marianna Embanato; sister, Rose Ticheli; and 
brothers, Tony Embanato, and Philip Embanato.

Survivors include son, Leo DeStefano of West Monroe; daughter, Linda Ultzsch 
and husband Mike of Monroe; grand children, Greg Ultzsch and wife Jana, Gina 
Ultzsch Edmondson and husband Eric, Diana DeStefano, Melissa DeStefano 
McQuillin and husband Mark, and Jennifer DeStefano; great grand children, 
Brooke and Grant Edmondson, Isabel, Alex, Kyle, and Aidan Ultzsch, and Ashley 
and Allison DeStefano; brother, Pete Embanato; sisters, Angie Bruscato, 
Josephine Lolley, Madeline Zarro, and Loretta Joseph; and numerous nieces and 
nephews.

Pallbearers will be Pete Embanato, Buddy Embanato, Johnny Joseph, Joe Zarro, 
Eric Edmondson, and Joe Bruscato.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and a Vigil Wake 
Service at 6:30 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
