Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 18, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. David Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Children and grandchildren will provide a special tribute by contributing music and scripture. Mrs. DeVille attended Lakeshore Baptist Church for a number of years then attended Collage Place Baptist for over 40 years. She graduated from Bastrop High School, and nursing school at St. Francis. Mrs. DeVille was employed as a registered nurse at St. Francis and later ULM Infirmary for 37 years. Mrs. DeVille loved cooking for her family especially at holidays. She loved giving and getting love from her grandchildren. Her grandchildren loved having Christmas with NaNee. Marty had a special love for Monroe and her friends, which continued after she left to live with her daughter in Sylacauga, AL because of illness. Her family was everything to Marty. Mrs. DeVille was preceded in death by her parents, Elzie and Dewey McGough; brother, Elzie (Bubba) Lee; sister, Mack; and brother, Glenn. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Burley DeVille; two sons, Roger DeVille and wife Dianna, and Brian DeVille and wife Kelly; one daughter, Janet Jones and husband Herschel; grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica, Jeremy, Emily, Drew, Joey, Greg, Caroline, Luke, Elizabeth, Melinda, Leah, and Barry; great grandchildren, Savannah, Bella, and Jennah. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. The family wishes to express special thanks for continued support and love through Mrs. Deville's illness to her Sunday school class at College Place Baptist Church.
