Cassie Eulene Dickerson, 74, of DeBerrry, TX. passed away July 06, 2009 in 
Shreveport, LA. Funeral services for Mrs. Dickerson will be Friday, July 10, 
2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Bethany Baptist Church in Bethany, LA. with Rev. Gary 
Palmer officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in DeBerry, TX. 
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 
09, 2009 at the Downs Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dickerson was born in Singer, LA. on October 14, 1934 to Eutress and 
Beatrice Cooley. She married James L. Dickerson on December 31, 1950 in 
Singer. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church where she sang in the 
choir and was a member of the Silver Eagles. She was pastor's wife for 58 
years and taught people how to love. She had a masters degree in nursing and 
worked in Highland Hospital in Shreveport and also several local physicians 
offices.

She is survived by her husband Rev. James L. Dickerson, two sons Greg & wife 
Nina Dickerson, and Tim & wife Teresia Dickerson, and daughter Jennie 
Dickerson Petty. Also surviving Mrs. Dickerson are her ten grandchildren, 
seven great grandchildren.
