Cage McLemore and brother-in-law, Henry "SangI" Cumpton presiding. Interment will follow in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery. Nancy was born July 12, 1937 in Rayville, Louisiana, passed away April 13, 2011. She took control of the Continental Trailways Bus Station at age 20, built Dixon Apartments at 26, bought Rayville Food at 35, and opened Rayville #2 the same year. She was co-owner of NanSu's Dress Shop, bought MidSouth Finance Company and in her spare time she got her broker's license and dabbled in real estate.She sold the businesses and went to work for the Richland Parish Sheriff's Office in 1984 and was employed there more than thirteen years. Nancy retired again and began working part time for Cook's Rentals. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille McLemore Cloninger, father, Loy C. Cloninger, beloved son, Mitchell Dixon, sister, Faye Cumpton, husband, Durrell "Huey" Dixon, and in-laws, Lila and Sonny Dixon. Nancy is survived by her nephews, Frank Cumpton, Baltimore, Maryland; Ray Cumpton and wife, Tammy, Dallas, Texas and grand nephew, Connor of Dallas, Henry "SangI" Cumpton, brother-in-law and wife, Peaches of Rayville, in-laws, Shirley and Sammie Davis, Dunn; Mike and Melba Dixon and many dear friends. Pallbearers are Tookie Collom, Zeke Ramsey, Wenchy Greer, Sonny Mills, Barry Ransom, and Chris Sasser. Honorary pallbearers are Timmie Ray Thames, Shug Newsom, Ben Newsom, Sonny Bond, Emmett Brown, Bobby Hales, Charlie Smith, Keith Holley and the RHS Class of 1956.
