Services for Bobby Gene Doyle, age 75, of Newellton, LA will be at 1:30 PM, on 
Sunday, January 25, 2004 at Newellton Union Church, Newellton, LA with Clyde 
Ray Weber officiating. Interment will be in Legion Memorial Cemetery, 
Newellton, LA under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.
Mr. Doyle was born on March 3, 1928 in Loanoke, AR and died on Thursday, 
January 22, 2004 at Glenwood Regional Hospital in West Monroe after a lengthy 
illness. Mr. Doyle was a retired farmer and a member of the Newellton Union 
Church.
Mr. Doyle was preceded in death by a son, Mike Doyle; his parents Clyde and 
Gladys Doyle; a brother Dean Doyle; and a sister Edna D. Gunter.
Mr. Doyle is survived by his wife, Betty R. Doyle of Newellton; two sons and 
daughter-in-law: Allen and Pauline Doyle of Newellton, LA; Kenny and Kim Doyle 
of Krum, TX; a daughter-in-law Connie Doyle of Ruston, LA; three brothers: 
James and Bea Doyle of Newellton, LA, Louie and Jimmie Ruth Doyle of Newellton, 
LA and Ronnie and Carolyn Doyle of Jackson, MS; two sisters: Betty Sue 
Pilkinton of Bossier City, LA and Peggy and Roger Waddill of The Bluffs, LA; a 
sister-in-law Betty Doyle of Jonesville, LA; nine grandchildren; one great 
grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Brian Doyle, Christopher Doyle, Mark Doyle, 
Morgan Doyle, and nephews David Doyle, Steve Doyle, John Salazar and David Hage.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 24, 2004 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 
Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home, Tallulah, LA.
Memorials may be made to Newellton Union Church.
