JOSEPH CLAUDE DUFFEY

J.C. Duffey, 78, a pipeliner and business owner, was born May 2, 1933 in 
Monroe, La and died Dec. 31, 2011 in Alexandria, La at his home after a short 
illness.

Survivors are his wife, Janice Watson Duffey, children Travis R. Duffey, 
Barbara D. Gunter Sharp, Kathy D. Smith, Joseph L. Duffey, Susie Ann D. 
Collins, and Jeffrey W. Duffey.

Grandchildren are Michaela D. Low, Melissa D. Cadman, Melynda Duffey, Amanda 
Gunter Everly, Shelton Smith, Holly Smith Braswell, Samuel Smith, Sherry Smith 
Massey, Barbie Jo Smith, Amanda Collins McMillan, Tamara Marie "T. C." 
Collins, and Joelyn Faye Duffey; and 14 great-grandchildren.

His siblings are Felix Felton Duffey, Dorothy Mae "Dottie" D. Standard, James 
Lavelle Duffey, Gasper Phillip Duffey, Roy Lee Duffey, and Rita Robertine D. 
Burns.

He was preceded in death by his parents Felton "Felt" D. and Sophie Josephine 
Smith Duffey; his brothers Robert Lee Duffey, Benny Joe Duffey, Felton Adolph 
Duffey, Thomas A. Duffey; son Robert Lynn Duffey; and granddaughter Brandie 
Nicole Duffey.
