ADA JONES DUFFEY

The Celebration of the life of Mrs. Ada Jones Duffey, 93, of Monroe, LA will be 
2:00 PM Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Hasley Cemetery Memorial Pavilion with Rev. 
Weldon Gaddey officiating.

Mrs. Duffey was born February 24, 1918 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away April 
14, 2011 in Monroe, LA, at her home with her children by her side. Mrs. Duffey 
loved life, people, and nature. She enjoyed traveling, working in her yard & 
gardens and spending time with her children. Mrs. Duffey is preceded in death 
by husband of 35 years and the father of her three children, Loyd B. Duffey, 
Sr., son, Loyd B. Duffey, Jr.; and grandson, Brian Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue Dodd and her husband, Norman; son, Doug 
Duffey; grandchildren, Donovan Smith, Billy Duffey, Lori Duffey Anderson, Cathy 
Young; special niece, Donna Ward; and special friends, Jacqueline Trachsel and 
Pete Romero.
