JOSEPH EDWARD DUGDALE

Funeral services for Joseph "Joe" Edward Dugdale, age 75, of Choudrant, LA 
will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 6, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church, 
Choudrant, LA. Pastor Dwayne Monk will be officiating. Interment will follow 
at Sibley Cemetery in Choudrant, LA under the direction of Owens Memorial 
Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston. 

Joe was born August 13, 1940 in Ruston, LA and went to his Heavenly Home on 
March 3, 2016. He was the owner of Dugdale Deer Processing in Choudrant, LA. 
He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, where he also served as a deacon. 
He loved his church and ministered by cooking; and serving the Lord in any way 
he could. Joe loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren and great-
grandchildren. He also loved fishing and enjoyed the company of his many 
friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Joe is survived by his high-school sweetheart of 57 years Glenda Dugdale of 
Choudrant, LA; children: Edward Dugdale and wife Kathleen; Rebecca Dugdale 
Jennings and husband Sandy and Todd Dugdale and wife Kim, all of Choudrant; 
six grandchildren: MaryAnn Dugdale Combs, Nicole Dugdale, Jake Dugdale, Luke 
Dugdale, Kaitlin Dugdale, and Levi Dugdale and two great-grandchildren: 
Mackenzie Combs and Conner Combs. He is also survived by two sisters: Bertie 
Hammons and Judy Williams and husband Jimmy; two brothers: James H. Dugdale 
and wife Mary and Curtis Dugdale and wife Fran, all of Choudrant, LA and a 
host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Jewel Dugdale.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at New Hope 
Baptist Church, in the Family Life Center.

The family would like to give many thanks to the staff at Glenwood Hospital 
that helped during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be 
made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Diabetes 
Association -
