TROY THOMAS DUGUAY

Funeral services for Troy T. DuGuay, 53, of Monroe will be held at 2:00 P.M., 
Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. John 
Telliferro officiating.

Mr. Duguay died Friday, May 20, 2016, at St. Francis Medical Center. Troy 
Thomas DuGuay, age 53, passed away in his home in Monroe, Louisiana on Friday, 
May 20, 2016. Troy was born in the City of Reading, Pennsylvania on September 
14th, 1962 to Lester and Joyce Scholkoef DuGuay. As a college graduate with a 
Geology degree from Mansfield University, he was a dedicated, hard working man 
striving to make a difference through to his final resting day. In his lifetime 
he owned and operated several businesses and became part of & made so many 
memories while overcoming many milestones. He loved nothing more than to seek 
out the best of not only him, but those he surrounded himself with. He enjoyed 
and had an endless amount of enthusiasm toward seeking the most out of life. 
His passion for being a father and person of opinion combined ultimately with 
the challenging of his own self were just a few of the things that can be used 
to describe him, yet any one person that ever met him would agree that no 
amount of words can fully describe the kind of person he was.

Troy is survived by his son, Troy II, daughter, Kaylin Lee and companion, Sarah 
Lee, all of Monroe, LA. He is also survived by his parents, Lester and Joyce, 
brother, Mitch, step-daughter, Erin, niece, Jessica and nephew, Zachary of 
Reading, PA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31st 2016 from 5 PM until 7 PM at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, 2308 Sterlington Road and the Funeral Service will be 
held at 2 PM Wednesday June 1st 2016, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Chapel. 
Following the Funeral Services there will be a gathering at Bayou Desiard 
Country Club for close friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kaylin Lee's Education Fund.
