Interment will be at Topisaw Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00am-1:00pm prior to services at Riverwood. Mrs. Etha Pearl Dupree, 90, of Monroe, formally of Brookhaven, passed away February 4, 2015 at Glenwood Medical Center in West Monroe, LA. She was born on June 24, 1924 to Houston Johnson and Beulah Butler Johnson. Mrs. Pearl was a member of First Baptist Church of Sterlington, Louisiana. Preceding her in death was her husband, L.T. Dupree; parents, Houston and Beulah Johnson; daughter, Linda Dupree; sons, Bobby Dean Dupree, Thomas L. Dupree; grandson Anthony Dupree; granddaughter, Monica Seymour; sisters, Eula Ree Thomas, Letha Mae Fallen, Bonnie Cummings, Marine Patrick and brother Billy Johnson. Survivors include her daughters, Dot Brown and husband Robbie of Monroe, LA and Joy Smith and husband Harold of Brookhaven; one brother, Clifton Johnson of Shreveport, LA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great- grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
