LUCY DUPREE

Funeral services for Lucy Dupree will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 
23, 2016 at New Life Community Church in Monroe, La. Pastor Bob Clanton and 
Aaron Balsamo will officiate. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park 
in Monroe, La under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.

She made her beautiful entrance into heaven Friday, February 19 surrounded by 
her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert H. Gerson and Katherine 
Gerson; brothers, Albert W. Gerson and William E. Gerson; and two sons in law, 
Jack Hummel and Leo Balsamo, Jr. She is survived by her children, Kathy 
Hummel, Jack (Buster) Lewis and wife Becky, Kenneth E. Lewis and wife Karen, 
Patricia Allen, Denise Balsamo Burroughs and husband Robert; grandchildren, 
Chelsea Elliot, Stephen Eyre Jr., John Hummel IV, John Hummel V, Jack (B.J.) 
Lewis, Tabatha Lewis, Justin Lewis, Amber Lewis Freeland, Ken Lewis, Cheryll 
Lewis, Jennifer Kay Allen Canterberry, Leo Balsamo III, Aaron Balsamo, Anthony 
Caleb Balsamo, Hannah Burroughs, and Kayli Burroughs; and 13 great 
grandchildren.

Lucy was a nursery worker at Pine Grove Church and Goudeau's Gym.

Her sweet, loving spirit made a difference in all the lives she touched.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 
2016 at New Life Community Church in Monroe, under the direction of Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
