RUSSELL DURBIN

Russell Durbin, age 59, of Dodson (Gansville Community) passed away Sunday, 
January 27, 2013, at Methodist Hospital, TMC in Houston, TX after a long 
illness.

Russell is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Persson and husband Johan of 
Roanoke, TX; son, Jon Durbin of Houston, TX; mother, Pauline Green Durbin of 
Gansville, LA; grandson, Drew Thomisee of Roanoke, TX; sisters, Deanna Page 
and husband Mike of Houston, TX, Brenda Shively and husband Thomas of 
Jonesboro, LA, Nelda Shows and husband Randy of Jonesboro, LA, Teresa Kirkham 
and husband Randy of Bienville, LA. Russell is also survived by a host of 
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Durbin; brother, David Durbin; 
nephew, Lyndon Kirkham.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, February, 1, 2013, at the 
Antioch Community Church in Goldonna with Pastor Craig Stephens and Pastor 
Adam Stanfield officiating under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, 
Jonesboro.

Friends may visit with the family Thursday 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at 
Southern Funeral Home, Jonesboro.

Interment will be in Antioch Community Cemetery in Goldonna.

Serving as pallbearers will be Craig Durbin, Brian Durbin, Michael Page, Jason 
Shively, Mitchell Page, Matthew Page, Rodney Shows and Jacob Shively;

Honorary pallbearer, Drew Thomisee.
