CAROLYN FAYE EADS

Mrs. Carolyn Faye Eads, age 74 of Eros, died July 28, 2016 following a brief 
illness. Mrs. Eads was a retired educator serving 34 years in the Jackson 
Parish School System. She served 25 years as Director Camp Quality of Louisiana 
and was currently Regional Care Giver of North East Louisiana YMCA. She was a 
life-long member of the Eros Community of Christ. She was a loving wife, 
mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to everyone she met.

Friends may call on the family 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday, July 31 at Eros 
Community of Christ and again Monday from 8:00 AM until time of services at 2 
PM. High Priest Shelton Coleman and High Priest Greg McManus will be 
officiating. Interment will be at Community of Christ Cemetery under the 
direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.

Mrs. Eads is survived by her husband Edward Eads; daughter, Paula Huey; son, 
Brian Davis and wife Gerri; two sisters, Merlene Roach and Sue Coleman and 
husband Shelton; brother, Ellis Lewis and wife Debra; sister-in-law Martha Sue 
Chambless; daughter-in-law, Crystal Davis; three step-children, Terri Refo and 
husband Bob, Tammy Watson and husband Carl, Lori Guthrie and husband Greg; 14 
grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other 
relatives and friends.

Mrs. Eads was predeceased by her parents, Harvey Ray and Dona Helen (Fuller) 
Lewis; son, Steven Davis; brother, Hyrum Chambless; grandson, Tyler Eads Davis.
