GERRY EDMONDSON


Memorial services celebrating the life of Mrs. Gerry Edmondson, age 96, of 
Monroe, LA., will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2015 at St. Paul's 
United Methodist Church in Monroe, LA, with Rev. Tim Neustifter and Rev. John 
Mabry officiating. Interment will be in Farmerville City Cemetery.

Gerry passed away on October 14, 2015 at St. Joseph Assisted Living.

Born in Farmerville, LA, on January 29, 1919, Gerry went on to graduate with a 
Bachelor of Education from Belhaven College in Jackson, MS.

Known for her loving nature and ever present smile, Gerry touched many lives 
through her work with the Alzheimer's Association , St. Paul's United Methodist 
Church, and PEO.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Marcus, and survived by 
her husband, Billy Edmondson, daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Craig Shew of 
Ada, OK, daughter Andrea Gay of Houston, TX, and step-children Judy and Bill 
Edmondson and Ann Peters of Monroe.

Memorials in memory of Gerry Marcus Edmondson may be made to The Alzheimer's 
Association , 910 Pierremont Rd., Suite 410, Shreveport, La. 71106, Attn: 
Research.

The family wishes to extend its gratitude to La. Hospice & Palliative Care and 
the staff at St. Joseph's Assisted Living.
