DAVID KYLE ELAHI

Funeral services for David Kyle Elahi, 28, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 
PM, Thursday, July 7, 2016 at North Monroe Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Brooks 
officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

David was killed in the line of duty at 4:45 AM, July 3, 2016 while conducting 
a traffic stop in Sterlington, LA.

David was a sergeant with the Sterlington Police Department, as well as a local 
business owner and real estate investor. David was a member of Delta Sigma Phi 
Fraternity and Foundry United Methodist Church of Sterlington. David took pride 
in protecting and investing in the community in which he resided and loved.

David is survived by his fiancé, Donna Parsley; his 2 year old daughter Alba 
Elahi; and an expected child due in January 2017. David also leaves behind his 
mother, Teena Elahi; father, Marcus Elahi; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be David Lawson, Matt Shulte, Kyle Piercy, Daniel Smith, 
Lenard Brantley, Michael Baldwin, Chief Barry Bonner and Assistant Chief Robert 
Bice. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marcus Elahi, Saqib Roy, Samer Roy, Waseem 
Shaw, Roger Elahi, Kent Kilcrease, David Parsley and Nic Farrar.

Visitation will be held at North Monroe Baptist Church, 210 Finks Hideaway Rd. 
on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
