DALE ELKINS



Funeral services for Mr. Dale Elkins, 81, of Spearsville, La. will be 10:00am 
May 4, 2013 at Camp Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Marty Black officiating and 
Bro. Buddy Boatwright assisting. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery. 
Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. 



Mr. Elkins, a retired farmer, passed away May 1, 2013. He was a member and 
deacon for 40 years at Camp Creek Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air 
Force.



He was preceded in death by his parents Carl & Faye Elkins and 1 brother, Carl 
Elkins. Jr. 



Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Doris Elkins of 
Spearsville; 1 daughter, Kathy McAdams & husband, James Riley of Spearsville; 1 
son, Kent Elkins & wife, Valerie of Smackover, AR; 3 brothers: Bobby Elkins & 
wife, Elizabeth of Spearsville, Hez Elkins & wife, Sunshine of Farmerville, and 
Tom Elkins & wife, Pat of Spearsville; 1 sister: Ruby Kay Misenheimer of 
Springhill, LA; 2 grandchildren: Clint McAdams & wife, Stacey of Ruston, LA and 
Rachel McAdams of Plain Dealing, LA; and 2 special caretakers: Janie Elliott 
and Diana Elliott.



Pallbearers are Steve Elkins, Brian Elkins, Alan Misenheimer, Kerry Aulds, Zack 
Upshaw, Clint McAdams and David Chrisman.



Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Camp Creek Baptist Church.
