HAZEL WALKER ELLERBEE 

Crother-Glenwood Funeral Home Tallulah, LA 

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Walker Ellerbee, age 88, will be held at 
11:00AM Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at First Baptist Church in Tallulah, LA, 
with Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00AM until 
hour of service at the church. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in 
Tallulah under direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Ellerbee died 
Monday, July 31, 2006 at her residence in Tallulah after a lengthy illness. 
She was born in Sikes, LA and had lived in Tallulah since 1938. She was a 
retired secretary and bookkeeper for the Madison Parish Assessor's office. She 
was a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. She was preceded in death by 
her husband, Jack Ellerbee, and a son, Darryl James Ellerbee. Survivors 
include: daughter-in-law: Leslye D. Ellerbee of Tallulah LA; four 
grandchildren: Darryl J. Ellerbee, Jr., of Talluah,LA, Jack D. Ellerbee of 
Hammond, LA, John H. Ellerbee of Baton Rouge, LA, and Elizabeth E. Sullivan of 
Tallulah, LA; five great-grandchildren: Lori E. Sullivan, Leslye Blake 
Sullivan, Carter O. Sullivan, Alvin Walker Sullivan, and Henry James Ellerbee, 
all of Tallulah, LA; one sister: Majorie W. Parker of Olla, LA. Pallbearers 
will be Tommy Bishop, Jim D. Sevier, Jr., Sidney Johnson, Dale McGoun, Michael 
Lancaster and Ray Caldwell.
