Will Shurley and Rev. Mickey Gallop officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. She was born on July 5, 1919 to the union of Willie Leon and Curtis Garner Miller in Holly Springs, MS and passed from this life Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Mary Anna Nursing Home in Wisner. Mrs. Ellerman attended Oak Grove Baptist Church for many years and was a graduate of Winnsboro High School. She was also a member of Mizpah Chapter of Eastern Star and was Past Worthy Grand Matron. Mrs. Ellerman was an expert seamstress, master gardener and artisan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donnie E. Ellerman; sister Lavelle Milby and brother J.C. Miller. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law Donnie L. and Margaret Ellerman of Winnsboro, Gary D. and Kay Ellerman of Radford, VA and Dan and Deborah Ellerman of Owings, MD; five grandchildren William David Ellerman, Anna Katherine Ellerman Shurley, James Whitten Ellerman, Malinda Ellerman-Markland and Laurie Ellerman-Kimi and seven great grandchildren David Ellerman, Claire Ellerman, Lillian Ellerman, Margaret Morgan Ellerman, Virginia Shurley, William Oliver Shurley and Makai Kimi. Mrs. Ellerman is also survived by three sisters Faye Carr of Wisner, Lanell Crawford of Enterprise and Janette Durham of Monroe; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Tom Hollis, Roy McDuffie, David McLemore, James McLemore, David Price and Mike Tucker. Online condolences may be made at www.gillfirstnational.com .
