YVONNE ELLINGTON

Funeral services for Yvonne Ellington, 88, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 
1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe. Rev. Eddy Shoemaker will officiate. Interment will follow at 
Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West 
Monroe.

Mrs. Ellington was born October 26, 1926 in Winnsboro, LA and passed away 
February 9, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malvin Ellington 
and a sister, Margie Ramsey and a nephew Jerrald Williams. Mrs. Ellington was 
the mother of 87 children during her foster care career.

Mrs. Ellington is survived by a son, Ronald Ellington and wife Linda; 7 
grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Lou Gills, Claudell 
Price and husband Jerry and Peggy Powell and husband Jimmy; numerous nieces and 
nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home West Monroe.
