BETTY JEAN ELLINGTON

Funeral services for Betty Jean Ellington, 81, of Mangham, LA will be held 
10:00 AM, Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, 
LA with Bro. Larry White and Bro. Travis Arrant officiating. Interment will 
follow in Gwin Cemetery, Mangham, LA.

Mrs. Betty was born August 3, 1929 in Harrison, AR and passed away Thursday, 
January 20, 2011 in Monroe, LA after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Ellington was a member of the Church of Christ at Archibald. She was 
preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, George R. Ellington and son, 
Gene Ellington.

Survivors include children, Perry Ellington and wife, Debra of Mangham, LA, 
Roger Ellington and wife, Zona of Calhoun, LA, and Candis Rodriguez and 
husband, Chris of West Monroe, LA; 11-grandchildren and 6-great grandchildren; 
sister, Mary Lisenby of West Monroe, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Chris Ellington, Dennis Shiers, Frank Hendrix, David Moore, 
Trey Magee, and Jesse Shiers.

Honorary pallbearers are Charlie Johnson, Jerry Roberts, Billy McGlothlin, 
Tommie Smith, Son Carter, and Wayne Phillips.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, at Brown-Holley Funeral 
Home, Rayville, LA.
