Farmerville, LA.

Amanda Louise Ellis, 90 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday 
November 9, 1997 at Dean Baptist Church with Rev. Coy Upshaw and Rev. Donald 
Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the 
direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Mrs. Ellis died Thursday, 
November 6, 1997 at Chateau D'Arbonne Nursing Home after a brief illness.

She was a life long resident of Union Parish, member of Dean Baptist Church 
and a homemaker. Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn 
Ellis. Survivors include seven sons: Winfred Ellis and wife Glenda of Kenton, 
TX; David Lavelle Ellis and wife Doris of Sterlington; Harvey Ellis and wife 
Kiola of Marion; Leroy Ellis of Marion; Preston Dale Ellis of El Dorado, AR; 
John R. Ellis of Dallas, TX; Billy Tom Ellis and wife Beverly of Weatherford, 
TX; two sisters: Addie Lee Graves of Bastrop and Emily Harper of Marion; 
eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and six great-great-
grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Dewey Rhodes, Jeff Kelly, Martin Kelly, Buck Brantley, 
James Pardue, Billy Joe Franklin and Danny Smith. Visitation will begin at 5 
p.m. Saturday at Dean Baptist Church.
