JUNE EVELYN GRIFFIN ELLIS

Graveside Services for Mrs. June Evelyn Griffin Ellis, 88, of Monroe, LA will 
be held at 2:30 P.M., Monday, April 4, 2016 at Hasley Cemetery Pavilion in West 
Monroe, LA with John Ellis officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home in Monroe, LA.

June, known to her friends as "Griff", was born March 8, 1928, and passed away 
April 2, 2016. She attended Georgia Tucker Grammar School, graduated from 
Neville High School. June attended Brenau University and she had degrees from 
both, LA Tech and LSU. She was a 50 year plus member of Tri-Delta Sorority, 
where she was inducted into The Golden Circle. June was preceded in death by 
her husband, Wilfred E. Ellis, Jr.; and brothers, Durwood, Lawton, and Howard 
Griffin and special friends, Clowe Wright and Yvonne Herron.

Survivors include her children, Terri Trammell and husband Jack, Robert Ellis 
and wife Gerri, John Ellis and wife Kim, and Jeri Tennis and husband Paul; 
grandchildren, Amy Bartlett and husband Michael, Kristen Gorski and husband 
Kevin, Cydni Hanks and husband Kevin, Jordan, Griffin and Casey Ellis, Avery 
and Collens Tennis; great grandchildren, Ava Bartlett and Ellis Gorski; special 
friends, Phillip Strickland, Kelley Keahey, Adele Ransom, Mike Husted, Betty 
Locke and numerous nieces, nephews and all her many friends, which are too many 
to mention.

Pallbearers will be Warren Perkins, Burg Ransom, Scott Rogers, Scott Foust, 
Wayne Petrus, Bruce McEacharn, Johnnye Ford and Joe Ford.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bubba from Mohawk, Cig Tidwell, Dinky Liner, Ron 
Alexander, John Pruitt, Tommy and Lawrence from Bayou DeSaird Country Club.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 4, 2016 
at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Michael Archie and his 
nurse, Gayle, and Dr. Owen Myers and his nurse, Lacy, and Synergy Home Health. 
And a special thanks to Melanie, Marilyn and Betty at Bayou DeSaird Country 
Club for always checking on her with the daily lunch specials.
