KENNETH CLAY EMORY

A celebration of life for Kenneth "Ken" Clay Emory will be held on Saturday, 
December 17, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of 
West Monroe with Rev Bill Lovett officiating. Ken is survived by his wife, 
Sharon (Shari) Myers Emory; parents, Edwin and Norma Emory; daughter, Somer 
Sykes and her husband, Jerry; son, Kristopher (Kris) Schroder; sister, Lisa 
Emory; brother, Eddie Emory and his wife, Melinda; grandchildren, Landon and 
Breanna Tripp; mother-in-law, Margaret Callender; sister-in-laws, Cathy 
Whitaker and Kim Daly; brother-in-laws, Jimmy Callender and Bobby Callender; 
and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ken was born in Monroe, Louisiana on December 14, 1958 and was reported 
missing by his family in West Monroe on December 21, 2010. He was a beloved 
son, husband and father and has been deeply missed by his family and 
friends. Ken was a graduate of West Monroe High School and worked 25 years 
at Graphic Packaging. He enjoyed deer hunting, NHRA Drag Racing, and was a 
highly skilled welder. His great passion was custom metal fabrication and 
could design and weld anything out of metal. The loss of Ken has been a void 
that will never be filled and continues to be heartbreaking.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 17, 
2016 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Memorials may be made in Ken's memory to PAWS of NE Louisiana or the Humane 
Society Adoption Center of Monroe.
