DAVID PETY III. ENGLISH

Funeral services for David Pety English, III, 66 of Southaven, MS will be held 
at Young's Funeral Home at 11 am Wednesday May 27, 2015 with Rev. Don Thornton 
officiating. Interment will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, 
under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Mr. English was born on November 24, 1948 in El Dorado, AR and passed away May 
23, 2015 at his residence in Southaven, MS. He was a graduate of Newellton High 
School in Newellton, LA. He worked at J.T. Shannon Lumber Company from which he 
retired in April 2014.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Hendrix English; parents, Hazel Mae 
English and David Eli English, Jr.; and one brother, Travis English, sister-in-
law, Alene English, sister-in-law, Kay English, and niece, Crystal English.

He is survived by Two sons, David English of Hornlake, MS, DeWitt English of 
Columbus GA, and special son "Tony" James Crawford; grandson, Sadler English of 
Valley, AL; brother, Ricky English of Newellton, LA; three sisters, Carolyn 
Willard and husband Harry of Russellville, AR, Brenda Grimsley and husband 
Clyde of Mapleton, UT, Patricia Sadler and husband Bob of West Monroe, LA; his 
"precious" boys, Sully and Nelly; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and 
loving friends.

Pallbearers are Dr. Ben Darby, David English, Alonzo Petty, Juston Rogers, John 
Hendrix and Jimmy Hendrix. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Wilson and Buddy 
Hendrix.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 am until 
11 am. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Cancer Research.
