BRENDA GAYLE HENDRIX ENGLISH 

Youngs Funeral Home, Ferriday, LA. 

Brenda Gayle Hendrix English died Friday, January 29, 2010 at her home in 
Southhaven, Mississippi. She was born December 26, 1948 in Newellton, 
Louisiana to John A. Hendrix and Thelma C. Sadler. She was a graduate of 
Joseph Moore Davidson High School in St. Joseph, Louisiana and had worked at 
Cross Keys Bank in St. Joseph for many years before moving to Horn Lake, 
Mississippi in 1997. Those left to cherish her loving memories are her husband 
and caregiver, David (Pety) English, III; sons, David English of Horn Lake, 
Mississippi and Dewitt English of Columbus, Georgia; grandson, Sadler English 
of Valley, Alabama; brothers, James Hendrix and wife Tiffany, Buddy Hendrix 
and wife Glenda all of St. Joseph, Louisiana; sister, Dena Darby and husband 
Ben of Sulphur, Louisiana; aunt Billie Jo Berry of Monroe, Louisiana; uncle 
Joseph Hugh Bourgeois of Waterproof, LA.; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Willard and 
husband Harry of Russellville, Arkansas, Patricia Sadler and husband Bob of 
Monroe, Louisiana, Brenda Grimsley and husband Clyde of Clarkston, Washington; 
brother-in-law, Ricky English and wife Kay of Newellton, Louisiana; numerous 
nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. A graveside service will be held 
at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, Louisiana. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 
at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday, 
Louisiana Rev. Don Thornton will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brenda's 
nephews: Josh Darby, Justin Darby, John A. Hendrix, III, Jimmy Hendrix, Dudley 
Hendrix, and David English. Honorary pallbearer is Joe Gossett
