EPPINETTE Funeral services for Mr. Benjamin B. Eppinette, 81 of Start, LA will be at 11:00AM Monday, September 5, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Skinner officiating. Interment will follow in the New Salem Cemetery in Girard, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home- Rayville. Mr. Benjamin was born on September 19, 1934 in Start and left this earth on September 1, 2016 in Start. He served his country in the U. S. Army while stationed in Germany and was an active member in the American Legion Post #100. He retired from LP&L energy corp. He enjoyed hunting and fishing especially on the Mississippi River. He is preceded in death by his wife Frieda of 51 years; his parents-Ben and Mamie Eppinette; a brother-Claude Eppinette; and step daughter-Lisa Kolb. Survivors include a brother-Charles Eppinette and wife Patsy; sister-Clara Jackson and husband Dennis; nephews-Michael Eppinette, Darren Eppinette, Curtis Jackson, and Dewayne Jackson; great nieces-Michaela Lewis and Kristin Eppinette; great nephew-Dylan Ridgeway; step grandchildren-Andy Kolb, Dianna Kolb and John Kolb of Eldorado, AR. His adopted family-Bruce and Debbie Nappier, Jason and Brittany Wilson, Lloyd and Tommie Jean Peters, and Pat Walker. Pallbearers will be Charles Eppinette, Michael Eppinette, Darren Eppinette, Bruce Nappier, Lloyd Peters, and David Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be James Melton, Pete Melton, Jerry Morris, Mike Moore, and George Clower. Visitation will be 5:00 until 8:00PM Sunday, September 4, 2016 in the Mulhearn chapel.
