MERRYLON LENARD EVANS

Funeral services for Merrylon Lenard Evans, 73, of Monroe, will be held at 
11:00 AM, Friday, May 9, 2014, at New Light Baptist Church, Monroe, LA, with 
Rev. Lindle Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Bosco Baptist Church 
Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, 
Monroe.

Mrs. Evans died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the University Health Conway. She was 
a loving mother and wife.

Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Ruthie Lenard.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Melvin Evans; children, Shirley 
Harris and husband David, Josh Evans, Vickie Flemming and husband David, Joey 
Evans and wife Shelia; 11 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; sister, 
Katherine Perkins; and two brothers, Truett Lenard and Roger Lenard.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Patrick Harris, Daniel Harris, Matthew Harris, 
Brandon Casey, Darren Guess, and Matthew Casey.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the 
funeral home.
