Burial will follow in Alexandria National Cemetery, Pineville, with Military Honors. Visitation will be observed at the funeral home on Monday, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and continue on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pallbearers honored to serve will be David Constance, Nicole Brewer, Chris Fabian, Bobby Paulk, Thomas Paulk, Kaleb Fabian, Ashley Dillon and Brian Fabian. Arthur Thomas "Tom" Fabian, 91, of Pineville, passed from this life on Friday, January 30, 2015, at the VA Medical Center. Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1942-1946 and the United States Air Force from 1952-1969. He was a veteran of the Korean War, World War II and the Vietnam Conflict, retiring with 21 years of combined service, as a TSGT/850 Field Maintenance Squad at England Air Force Base. During his working life he worked for Skip Converse and retired with 20 years of service and managed Buhlow Lake Airport for many years. Arthur loved to fly and was in the Civil Air Patrol. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed and never forgotten. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Theda L. Fabian; 2 infant twin sons; son, Tom Norton; parents, Arthur M. and Violet Cappell Fabian; and a brother, Charles Fabian. Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Richard Norton and wife, Rita, Glenn Fabian and wife, Kim, John Fabian and wife, Robin, Robert Fabian, Terry Fabian and wife, Jackie; daughters, Michele Constance, Grace Paulk and husband, Wayne, Mary Fabian; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth E.
