ANNETTE REID FARRAR

Mrs. Annette Reid Farrar, 83, a retired businesswoman of Farmerville, was born 
January 20, 1929 in Bernice, LA and died at home May 8, 2012 after a lengthy 
illness. Mrs. Farrar graduated from Bernice High School and attended Louisiana 
Tech University. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of 
Farmerville and will be remembered as a loving, generous friend and 
philanthropist who was always there for others. 

Mrs. Farrar was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Mae Reid; brother 
Odel Reid; sisters Vivian White and Myrt Howard and husband Gerald Farrar. 

She is survived by her daughter Jann Farrar and son Kenn Farrar, both of 
Monroe; brother Chester Reid of Shreveport; brother-in-law John Malon Farrar, 
Jr. of Ruston and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. 

A memorial visitation with the family will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, 
May 10, at Farrar Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at a 
later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the charity of your
