He retired from the State of Louisiana DOTD on May 24, 2014 and was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Connie Fatheree, two brothers, John Bryan Fatheree and Harold David Fatheree as well as his in-laws William Arthur Perkins and Annie Mae Perkins,and brother-in-law Jerry "Bubba" Perkins. He was a member of the Banks Springs Baptist Church in Banks Springs, Louisiana. Left to celebrate his home going, his beloved wife, Teresa Perkins Fatheree of Columbia; One Daughter, Jamie Michelle Bandy and husband Ronald Russell of West Monroe, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Sarah Nicole and James "Jake" Marshall Bandy; his mother, Audie Fatheree,three sisters, Patricia Rider and husband John of Columbia; Theresa Hendrix and husband Jimmy of Kelly and Ruby Smith and Jeff Roberts of Grayson;two brothers, Ronnie Fatheree and wife Venitia of West Monroe and Russell Fatheree of Columbia; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Fatheree, Tim Fatheree, Jeff Roberts, Beaux Smith, Josh Hendrix, and Jason Maxwell. Honorary pallbearers include "Gang 510" which includes Jimmy Ray Busby, Danny Stapleton, Sidney Mack, John Jameson, Joey Freeman, Eddie Whitten, Eddie Westbrooks, Chuck Stapleton and Sam Griffin. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday July 25, 2014 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Brother Russell Rhodes delivering the obituary, and Brother Eddie Riley bringing the eulogy and message. Interment will follow in the Columbia Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Friday from 10:00 am until time of service.
