Evelyn Trussell Ferrand, 88, passed away in Ruston on Thursday, June 30, 2005, after a brief illness. Mrs. Ferrand was born in the Antioch Community near Ruston on May 18, 1917, to George Paxton and Ermine Cargill Trussell. She attended Ruston area schools and graduated from Ruston High School. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She is lovingly remembered and survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Don and Maureen Trussell of Shreveport, and her sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Lucius McGehee of Ruston. She is also survived by several special nieces and nephews: Patricia and Bob Flournoy, Don and Carolyn McGehee, Deborah and Wes Lynch, David and Michele McGehee, Dell and Tom Jones and Lucius and Leigh McGehee, all of Ruston; Charlie Sue Brouh, Murrieta, CA; Harry Steven, Kodiak, AK; Sam Steven and Jimmy Steven, Winnsboro; Susan McWilliams, Baton Rouge; and Bill Wilkins, Shreveport. Her husband, Stuart B. Ferrand, and sister, Adele Trussell Nugent, preceded her in death. Visitation will be at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Ruston, on Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM The memorial service will be at Grace United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 2 at 10:30 AM with Dr. Wayne Evans and Rev. Ben McGehee officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Don McGehee, David McGehee, Lucius McGehee, Bob Flournoy, Wes Lynch, and Tom Jones. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, any memorials be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 3401 North Trenton St., Ruston, LA or the Louisiana Methodist Children's Home, P. O.
