Funeral services for Samuel Dolph Ferrington, 76, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Feazel Chapel West Monroe, LA. Rev. 
Mark Fenn will be officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery, 
Holly Grove, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Ferrington was born October 31, 1932 in Wisner, LA and passed away March 
5, 2009 in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of First Baptist Church West 
Monroe, LA since 1957.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joye Ferrington; son, Sam Ferrington 
Jr. and wife Sandra; daughter, Kim Booth and husband David; grandchildren; 
Samantha Sumpter, Joseph Battaglia, and Ashton Ferrington; great-
grandchildren; Magi, Thomas, and Judge; brothers; Bob Ferrington and Ronnie 
Ferrington.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 8, 2009 from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriners, Baptist Children's 
Home, First Baptist Church of West Monroe or St. Jude's Hospital.
