MABEL HALL FIELDS Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, La. Graveside services for Mrs. Mabel Hall Fields, 93, of Rayville and West Monroe, La. will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Calhoun, La. with Rev. Roger Johnson officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA. On Saturday, December 8, 2007, Mabel Smith Hall Fields was welcomed to her heavenly home by a host of family and friends who waited patiently beside Heavens Gate for a joyous and happy reunion once again. She was born in a little town outside of Leesville, LA. on September 19, 1914. For over fifty years she was married to Arthur William Hall, her childhood sweetheart. After his death several years later, she married Thomas Henry Fields, Sr., the father of her daughter-in- law, Anitra Fields Hall. Mrs. Fields is survived by her husband, Thomas Henry Fields, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Art and Jim Grantham of Tullahoma, Tennessee and son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Anitra Hall of West Monroe, La.; Grandchildren, Lauri Warlick, (John) Lynna Caples, (Ricky) Mark Grantham, (Martha) Kelly Saringer, (Bill); Great Grandchildren, Jenna Warlick, Jonathan Warlick, Hall Caples, Evyn Caples, Elizabeth Grantham, Thomas Grantham, Alexis Saringer, and Grant Saringer. The love of and for her "second family", Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Fields, Jr., Mr. G. E. Fields, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Fields, and all of their children and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations may be made to a charity that would benefit others. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
