Ricky Baker and John Hammons officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA. Pat was born on May 5, 1934 in Portsmouth, Ohio and passed away on January 27, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. She was married to Arthur "Art" L. Finley for over 62 years. She was a dedicated choir member all her adult life and participated in numerous holiday cantatas. Pat was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church and worked enthusiastically for the church. She came to know Jesus as her Lord & Savior while living in Athens, TX and read the Word daily. Pat retired from Baker Shoes and loved to travel the USA and Canada with Art, particularly enjoying seeing His creation in the National Parks of the western states. She had a beautiful voice, an infectious laugh, was a talented seamstress, and had an ever-present smile. Pat is survived by her husband Art, her daughter Marleen Hammons, son-in-law John, daughter Paula D'Ardenne, son-in-law Richard, grandchildren Kyle Hammons (Rachel), Eric Hammons, Ben D'Ardenne (Rachel), Sarah D'Ardenne-Stapleton (Kris) and Jordan D'Ardenne. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nada Gribble, her sister, Carolyn Howard, and her brother Charles Kuhner. Pallbearers will be: John Hammons, Kyle Hammons, Eric Hammons, Richard D'Ardenne, Ben D'Ardenne, and Jerry Finley. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service, Friday, January 31, 2014 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. We weren't ready for you to go.
