NELLIE RUSSELL FLEMING

Funeral services for Nellie "Lynn" Russell Fleming, 83, of Monroe, will be held 
at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Dr. Johnny Funderburg officiating. 
Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Fleming died Saturday, September 12, 2015, at her residence. She was a 
member of North Monroe Baptist Church and retired as a telephone operator from 
Pioneers of America. She loved to work in the flowers bed and enjoyed talking 
on the phone with family and friends.

Mrs. Fleming was preceded in death by her husband, John Walker Fleming; and her 
parents, Shank and Violia Brooks Russell.

Survivors include her sons, John Bruce Fleming and wife Theresa of West Monroe, 
LA, Gary Wayne Fleming and wife Lisa of West Monroe, LA; daughter, Anna Lynne 
Carroll of Amory, MS; grandchildren, Missy, Michelle, Megan, Molly, Jennifer 
Lynne; seven great grandchildren; and one great grandchild and one on the way.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at the 
funeral home.
