FLETCHER A celebration of life for James E. Fletcher, Sr., 92 of West Monroe will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 26, 2013, at Trinity Baptist Church, 214 Reagan St., West Monroe, LA. Rev. Wesley Pittman and Rev. Purvis Rodriguez will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday, April 26, 2013, from 1:00 pm until service time at the church. Burial is at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. He was born on January 27, 1921, to Joseph Louis and Dollie Taylor Fletcher, and "Finished Well" on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. The 1934 Southern U. S. Marble Champion, WWII Navy PBM Mariner Radar Man serving in the Pacific Theater, Manville Paper Maker for 44 years, and Lifetime Deacon of Trinity Baptist Church of West Monroe, considered his most cherished accomplishment to be his 71 years of marriage to "the love of his life," Ethel Mae Fowler Fletcher. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Lloyd Fletcher of Crossett, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Mae Fowler Fletcher; sister, Helen Fletcher Howard of St. Francisville, Louisiana; and sister-in- law, Ruby Hines Fowler of Pasadena, Texas. His legacy lives on in the lives of their children. James E. "Jim" Fletcher, Jr. and Judith Parker Fletcher; Jeffrey and Vanessa Fletcher, and Simon David of Tucson, Arizona. Linda Fletcher Parker and Larry Parker; Richard and Angie Parker, Forrest and Lauren; Ryan and Tabitha Parker, Kylie and Avery of Malvern, Arkansas; Ashley and Tim Jones, Caroline, Luke and Levi of Andalsuia, Alabama. Kenneth Lee Fletcher and Karen Kelly Fletcher of West Monroe; Kelly Lee and Sgt. Rodney Hattaway (US Army), Austin James, Emma Lee and Braiden Christopher, currently stationed in Lubbock, Texas.
