HAZEL S. FLOWERS

Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Stephens Flowers, 98, of West Monroe, LA 
formerly of Wisner, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 7, 2013 at the 
South Central Baptist Church in Wisner with Rev. Larry Eubanks officiating. 
Interment will be in South Central Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Flowers died October 3, 2013 at Landmark Nursing Home.

Mrs. Flowers was a long time member of South Central Baptist Church. She was 
very active in all of the church activities and loved her Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Flowers, Jr.; parents, 
Charlie and Florence Stephens; brother, John H. Stephens; son, Charles Wesley 
Flowers; daughter, Betty F. Curry and daughter-in-law, Peggy S. Flowers.

Survivors: Daughter, Mrs. Virginia Frost and husband, Velton; Son, Donald 
Flowers; Daughter-in-law, Carolyn Flowers; 10 Grandchildren; 17 Great-
Grandchildren; 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Curry, Randy Whitney, Mark Walker, David Flowers and 
Nick Jungina.

Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time on Monday at the church.
