Services for Annie Jones will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday November 7, 1997 at the Kilpatrick's Chapel on Lamy Lane, Monroe, with Rev. Joel Cook officiating. Burial will be in Ouachita City Cemetery, Ouachita City, LA. Mrs. Ford was a native and life-long resident of Union Parish. She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren whom she loved very much, Glen "Bo" Smithwick II and Kristi Smithwick, and has joined them both in heaven. Mrs. ford was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Ford, as well as her parents, a brother and four sisters. She will be greatly missed by her family who said she was the best mother that ever lived. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Mary and L. L.. Smithwick, Sterlington; Bobby and Kenneth Nolan, Sterlington, two grandsons: Glen Smith and Robert Kiel Nolan; one brother: Ed Jones, Ouachita city; one sister: Della Jeffries, Monroe, and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Eugene Aaron, Ronnie Jones, Tony Nolan, Harold Martin, Johnny Roberson and Denny Pearson. Honorary pallbearer is Bubba Kenly. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. til service time Friday.
