Wesley Pittman officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Ford was born on March 23, 1921 and passed away at her daughter's home on March 1, 2009. She was a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School. Mrs. Ford was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church for over 50 years and was also a member of the Annie E. Bennett Order of the Eastern Star. She Co-Founded a dress shop in West Monroe and was the 1st woman to be appointed to the Beautification Board for the City of West Monroe. Mrs. Ford is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Georgie Hatten and by her beloved husband of 67 years, Timothy Ford, Sr. Survivors include her children, Gail Ford Palmieri and husband, Robert and Tim Ford, Jr. and wife, Amy; her beloved grandchildren, Katie Palmieri, Jason Ford and wife, Jodi, Andy Sanders, Matthew Palmieri, April Wallace, Timothy Ford, III. "Trey", and L. Gennie Ford "Lil Rose"; great grand children, Aden Ford, Abbi Wallace, and Trinity Ford; her dear friend, Relda "Bo" Butler; and by her adopted daughter, Martha Yarbourgh. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Hospice Care of Louisiana; especially Travis, Nicole, Casandra, Cindy, Marvin, Tim and to her sitter, Betty.
