Funeral services for Marshall L. Fordham, 85, of 1414 Hinton St., West Monroe, 
will be 2 p.m. today at Frantom Chapel near West Monroe, with the Rev. Paul 
Durbin officiating. Burial will be in Frantom Chapel Cemetery under the 
direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe. Mr. Fordham died Friday 
at his residence in Monroe after a brief illness. Survivors include his widow, 
Mrs. Ottice Fordham of West Monroe; three sons, Jerry Lee Fordham and Wayne 
Fordham, both of West Monroe, and Herman Fordham of Vicksburg, Miss.; one 
daughter, Mrs. Vera Jordan of West Monroe; one brother, J.D. Fordham of West 
Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Lawrence of West Monroe and Mrs. Alta Hearn of 
Ruston and 12 grandchildren. The body will be at Mr. Fordham's residence until 
about 1 p.m. today.
