Eddie Shumaker officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in West Monroe under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the funeral home. Mr. Foster was born October 3, 1938 in Canton, TX, but he grew up in Fishkill, New York. He later moved to New Orleans, LA where he met his wife. He passed from this life on March 20, 2016 in Ruston, LA at the age of 77. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dee Foster and Mary Lexie Pierce Foster; one granddaughter, Cristie Nicole Humble; two brothers, Billy Foster and Bryant Foster, along with two other brothers. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Emma Jean Rawls Foster; his children, Sandy Anseman (Charles, Jr.) of Albany, LA, John Humble (Misty) of West Monroe, LA, Tammy Tardiff (Peter) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jon Ann Rowen (Daniel) of McKinney, TX and Dr. Mary Ann Barham (Keith Fuqua) of Ruston; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Charles Anseman, Jr., Charles Anseman, III, Peter Tardiff, Alexander Pipes Barham, Daniel Rowen, and Zack Rowen.
