JESSIE L. FOSTER

Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Jessie L. Foster, 89, of 
Downsville, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the 
Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Downsville, LA with Rev. Werner Aswell and Rev. 
Bobby Krantz officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Ararat Cemetery 
under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Foster was born on January 8, 1927 and passed away at her residence on 
September 15, 2016. She was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church and was a 
special education teacher's aide. Mrs. Foster loved her muscadine farm and 
enjoyed bowling, the outdoors, camping, music and dancing. She is preceded 
in death by her first husband, Ernest Wyatt Liggin, Jr.; and husband, 
Charles Harry Foster.

Survivors include her children, Dixie Foster Chapman and husband, Richie and 
their daughters, Mallory Chapman and fiancé Zach Wood; and Allie Chapman; 
Brenda Liggin Viator; Sammy Liggin and wife, Susan and their children, Sam 
Jr. and Catherine; and Wyatt Liggin and wife, Stacie; and his children, 
Joshua and Ashley; 9 great grandchildren with one on the way; and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Josh Liggin, Sam Liggin, Richie Chapman, Scott Carson, 
Bob Jones and Zach Wood.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Saturday, September 
17, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the Northeast Louisiana War Veteran's Home.
