FRANKLIN Funeral services for James Randall Carey Franklin II, affectionately known as "Little Jammy", 18, of Columbia will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, July 17, 2016 from the sanctuary of Banks Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Riley officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Little Jammy was born on November 11, 1997 in Monroe and passed from this life on July 14, 2016 from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was a member of the Banks Springs Baptist Church. Spending time with his father was one of the great loves in his life. He also loved cars and mechanics. He lived by the words, "If you stay strong for me, I will stay strong for you." His family takes great solace in his words. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Lowery; his aunt, Scarlet Denese Tipton; great-great- grandmother, Julie Taylor and his great-grandfather, James Benson Hedgepeth. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, James and Jennifer Franklin of Columbia; his mother, Tammy Boling of Tennessee; his fiancee, Sara Warren of Columbia; four brothers: Jacob Robinson and Noah Robinson of Columbia, Jacob Tatham and Jason Tatham, both of Tennessee; two sisters: Kassidy Wallace of West Monroe and Kimberly Laskey of Tennessee; his grandmother, Judy Briggs and husband Anthony of Dry Prong; great-grandmother, Gracie Franklin; his godparents, Ole Man Taylor and Debbie Taylor; his godbrothers: Randall and Daniel Taylor; godsisters: Amy, Beth, and Tammie Taylor; his best friend, Kris Adams; two uncles: Michael Lowery and Bubba Tipton and numerous cousins and other family members. Serving as pallbearers will be James Franklin, Sr., Randall Taylor, Daniel Taylor, Kris Adams, Michael Lowery, and Ole Man Taylor.
