RONALD "RON" EUGENE FRANKS Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Funeral services for Mr. Ronald "Ron" Eugene Franks, 54, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday December 29, 2004 at the Cy press Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Larry Eubanks and Rev. George Bonner officiating. Burial will be in the Cypress Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mr. Franks died on December 27, 2004 at his residence in West Monroe, LA after a lengthy illness. Mr. Franks was a member of the Cypress Baptist Church. He was retired from the Ouachita Parish School Board as the Building Supervisor at Pinecrest School. He was the Constable of Ward 9. Mr. Franks was a member of the West Monroe Lions Club and also a member of the Con stable and JP Association. He is preceded in death by his mother, Janie Bell Franks. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Franks; son, David Franks and his wife Rachel; daughter, Jessica Pope and her husband Tony; father, Wayne Franks all of West Monroe, LA brother, Bill Franks and his wife Wanda of Rocky Branch, LA; sister, Kim Creech and her hus band Ronald of Downsville, LA; father and motherinlaw, James and Elizabeth Williams of St. Pauls, N.C.; sister and brotherinlaw, Toni and Dirk Blose of Fayetteville, N.C. and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Gary Osborne, Greg Franks, Johnny Lucas, Edgar Wink, Mike Stone and Ken Farmer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Benny Owens, Jim Nelson, Randy Alexander, Steve Owens, Billy Green, Paul Finlay and Calton Yeager. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time at Cypress Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Cypress Baptist Church Building Fund.
