FRAZIER Funeral services for Charles E. Frazier, 79 of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Eros, LA. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Scott Thompson will be officiating under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mr. Frazier was born April 27, 1932 in Chestnut, LA and passed away January 29, 2012 in Ruston, LA after a lengthy illness. He was a retired manager for South Central Bell and was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Frazier was a member of Goldonna Baptist Church and was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Karen Frazier; grandchild, Rose Marie Frazier; sister, Alice Faye Simmons. Mr. Frazier is survived by his wife of 60 years; Shirley Marian Matthews Frazier; son, Robert Wayne Frazier and wife Terri; 2 granddaughters; Anna Marie and Summer Marie Frazier; brother, William E. Frazier and wife Janice; 2 sisters, Annie Lou Buckminister of Deridder, LA and Patricia Brownlee of Post Falls, Idaho; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
