Farmerville, LA

Funeral services for George E. Freeman, 80, of Farmerville, LA, will be held 
at 2:00 P. M. Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Rocky Branch Baptist Church with 
Revs. Woodson McGuffie, Lloyd Boudloche and Charles Davis officiating. 
Interment will follow in Freeman Family Cemetery in Farmerville, LA under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 from 5:00 P. M. until time of 
service at Rocky Branch Baptist Church.

Mr. Freeman was born on October 8, 1927 in Rocky Branch, LA he passed away on 
August 12, 2008 in Farmerville, LA. He was a Gideon, and a deacon of Rocky 
Branch Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman. George was a 
loving husband and father and also an expert grower of tomatoes.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy B. Freeman of Farmerville, LA; 
children, Sharon Freeman of Farmerville, LA., David Freeman and wife Angela of 
Farmerville, LA., Regina Gilmore of Bernice, LA., grand-children; Dr. Melissa 
Cable of Kansas City, MO., Kelly Morrison of Shreveport, LA. Tori Freeman of 
Farmerville, LA., Courtney Arledge of Bernice, LA. and Mason Gilmore of 
Bernice, LA.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Gideons.
